Gaillardia aristata. Native to open prairies, dry grasslands, and woodland edges. This flower is deer and drought resistant. Attracts a variety of pollinators including butterflies, bees, and beneficial insects. Grows well in dry to mesic soil conditions in full sunlight. Ranges from 1-4′ in height. Unique, yellow and red flowers bloom from Spring to late Summer.
