Lobelia cardinalis. Found in prairies and wet woodlands, this wildflower can be used in small groupings in borders, woodland gardens, edges of water gardens, and bogs. It attracts hummingbirds and other pollinators. Grows well in moist to wet soil conditions in full to partial sunlight. Ranges from 1-5′ in height. Vibrant red flowers bloom in mid to late Summer.
