Monarda punctata. One of the most popular prairie flowers among pollinators. Typically found in fields, dry prairies, savannas, meadows, plains and pastures. Attracts a large variety of wildlife and pollinators including songbirds, hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, wasps and other insects. Grows well in dry to mesic soil conditions in full sunlight. Ranges from 2-3′ in height. One of our most unique wildflowers. Tiered pink, white, green and yellow blossoms bloom in mid to late Summer.
