Helianthus pauciflorus. Stiff Sunflower is found on roadsides and sandy-gravelly slopes throughout the Midwest. Commonly used in prairie restoration, range mixes and pollinator patches. Attracts bees, birds and other pollinators. Blooms in the fall, enjoys full sun and dry mesic-dry soils.
