Juneberry (Serviceberry) - Amelanchier alnifolia

Juneberry is a thick-forming shrub/tree that has a moderate growth rate with a mature height of 6-15 feet and a crown spread of 5-8 feet. It prefers moist soil and full sun but can tolerate partial shade. It does not tolerate drought well. White flowers bloom in early summer and larger bluish-black fruit ripens in July. Many types of wildlife feed on the berries and twigs.
