Red splendor crab is a spreading, semi-weeping tree with a moderate growth rate and a mature height of 20-30 feet. It can adapt to a variety of soils but if prefers heavy loam and well-drained soils. It is moderately drought tolerant and likes full sun. Long-lasting pink flowers bloom in spring and bright fruits will remain throughout the winter.
