Late Lilac- Syringa villosa

Seedling Height: 12-24 in

A dense tall shrub with stout ascending branches. This species blooms later than the common lilac. Lavender-pinkish flowers fade to gray-white. Does not sucker. Used for windbreaks, borders, screens and group or mass plantings. Adapted to a wide variety of soil. Prefers well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Foliage is dull dark green above, glaucescent
beneath.
